The Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau (GBCVB) is seeking an experienced professional to serve as the new Vice President of Finance to provide strategic expertise and financial leadership.

GBCVB is a not-for-profit, membership-driven sales and marketing organization comprised of over 1,200 companies in Boston, Cambridge and across New England that depend upon the visitor and convention industries for their own success and growth. GBCVB is the primary private sector marketing and visitor services organization charged with the development of meetings, conventions and tourism-related business. Their goal is to enhance the economy of Boston, Cambridge and the metropolitan area.

The VP of Finance will be responsible for planning, directing, and controlling the financial activities of GBCVB. The VP will employ a thorough knowledge of public finance, budgeting, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and will ensure the responsible fiscal stewardship of the organization.

This position will be reporting to the Executive Vice President. The VP of Finance will have 3 direct reports: the Director of Finance, Staff Accountant, and Accounts Receivable.
