A premier hotel management and investment company is seeking a positive, passionate, and experienced professional to serve as the new Global Sales Director. As Global Sales Director, you will be responsible for the development of National Accounts that will support five different properties based in California, Hawaii, and Texas by identifying new opportunities that will benefit the collection of properties.

The Global Sales Director will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive group bookings for the collection of properties. This role will be focused on identifying, cultivating, and securing new business opportunities from a variety of market segments, including corporate, association, incentive, and leisure groups. This person will have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and strong relationships with key industry stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive group business for the properties.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through proactive sales efforts, including cold calling, prospecting, and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders, including meeting planners, travel agents, corporate executives, and industry associations.
  • Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, highlighting the unique features and benefits of the properties.
  • Work closely with the Regional Director of Sales and other key leaders to develop and implement direct sales and marketing initiatives that support group sales efforts.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity, providing regular reports and updates to senior management.
  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and events to promote the properties and generate new business opportunities.
  • Ensure that all group bookings are properly entered into the company’s CRM system and that all relevant information is accurately recorded and maintained.
  • Manage and maintain accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Established in the luxury group market with tenured relationships who can secure new business while maintaining existing accounts.
  • Close relationships with Associated Luxury Hotels International and Teneo Hospitality Group is preferred.
  • The single point of contact who will leverage all of the resources as well as knowledge of each unique property to match customers within the portfolio.
  • Update clients on new properties, upcoming and recent enhancements, special promotions, current offers, and value dates.
  • Work with a positive “can-do” attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and can multitask and have attention to detail.
  • The ability to uphold the values and principles of integrity, compliance, value, creation, principled entrepreneurship, customer focus, knowledge, change, humility, respect, and fulfillment.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, or a luxury hotel sector.
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
  • The willingness to travel domestically and internationally is required.
  • Passionate about the luxury hotel industry and committed to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Certified CME, CMP, CIS.
  • Knowledge and experience with Delphi. fdc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Salary Range: $110,000-$130,000 +Bonus
